
Thoreau Lovell is a poet and fiction writer living in Berkeley, California with his wife and two daughters. He is the author of Wilson Wiley Variations (Wet Cement Press), Public Servant (Toehold Books) and Amnesia’s Diary (Ex Nihilo Press).
He worked for many years in the J. Paul Leonard Library at San Francisco State University, primarily as an administrator responsible for technology and collection access. In 2018 he helped form the Wet Cement Press collective. In the 1990s he was an editor at Five Fingers Review and Press.
